Hi I'm Kate!
My background is in design, systems, mapping and data — as well as art, craft, and the slow work of making things by hand. I bring all of that to my coaching. I am interested in the architecture of a life: what is load-bearing, what is decorative, what has quietly been holding things together, and what can safely come down.
I work from the belief that real change is not cognitive — it is embodied. Knowing something is rarely enough. We work somatically, practically, and without judgment, drawing on values-based and trauma-informed approaches — and always with an awareness that standard frameworks don't fit every brain.
I will always ask your WHY before we touch your HOW.
Because I believe you are already whole. The ways you have learned to make yourself smaller, more palatable, more available — are not character flaws. They are intelligent adaptations to the world you grew up in. My job is not to fix you. It is to help you notice those adaptations, understand where they came from, and choose — consciously, on your own terms — which ones still serve you.
As a Certified Women's Coach and working towards my ICF accreditation, I would love to work with you and support you to see what you really know about yourself, when you have the time and permission to investigate.
